The Collaborative Response
This section consists of a combination of the Collaborative ONCHIT RFI responses to Questions 3 and 23. Question 3 asks: "What aspects of a NHIN could be national in scope vs. local or regional? Please describe the roles of entities at those levels." The diagram and description are part of the response to Question 23, which asks for a "description of the major design principles/elements of a potential technical architecture for a NHIN."
