Daniel Garrett

Mr. Garrett is the vice president and managing partner of CSC's Global Health Solutions practice. He is responsible for leading all healthcare activities across CSC. Mr. Garrett chairs the Global Healthcare Executive Council and is a member of Consulting Group's executive and operating committees. Prior to this, Mr. Garrett was vice president of the Healthcare Group's consulting practice. GHS combines the consulting practices organized to serve the life sciences/pharmaceutical, payor/health plan, and provider clients of CSC's Healthcare Group and Consulting Group.

Mr. Garrett has spent over 23 years in the consulting industry, developing business and delivering and managing both strategy and technology consulting engagements to a variety of vertical industries. Mr. Garrett joined CSC in 1995 as practice director for the consumer and industrial products practice and grew that practice to one of the largest (U.S.) regional practices in the company. He has also started and led CSC's Consulting Group efforts at DuPont, creating the Consulting Group's largest account in FY98. Mr. Garrett has been involved in implementing many virtual and physical organization models, executing integrated go-to-market models and providing solutions that span from strategy to implementation of business models and processes, people and technology. Previous management responsibilities have included directing a U.S.-wide professional services and systems integration organization, managing large application development groups, program and project management of multi-million dollar global initiatives and leading corporate marketing organizations. Mr. Garrett holds a bachelor-of-arts degree in computer and information science from Temple University. Dan is a member of the eHealth Initiative Leadership Council, one of the founding members of NAHIT (National Alliance for Healthcare IT) and is a member of the steering committee of Connecting for Health. He is also a member of APICS, the Council of Logistics Management and the Northeastern Technology Council.
